Sole Bay Jazz and Friends…

Each week as I sit to write a little report about the band, I wished I had been more diligent in learning the correct way of English writing, but as you all know I enthuse about everything in my own way and put capitals/apostrophes/ellipsis all in strange places, but you are good to look in and hope you appreciate that it helps those people who cannot get to the gigs. Well I like to think so anyway.

So Tony P (great to see you again) you are right here goes all the adjectives… What a great night of live music at The Sports Pavilion with The Sole Bay Jazz Band and guests.

Entertaining…wonderful…terrific talent…happy…fun… and much more, in fact I think it was one of the best nights out of the many that we have had…

To top it our Stella had her 90th birthday celebrated, so good to see her enjoying herself.

Thank you Sole Bay always good but sometimes extra special…Thanks to Pete Rudeforth for coming along to play for us, Pete G lovely to hear you playing again…trummy always a pleasure all those notes! but you forgot the Euphonium! Ray… Tony J… and Craig and of course Tim upped the game again …great playing.

Thanks to Clover and Christine for doing the raffle… thanks Janet and Margaret for helping me with folding the tickets, our 'raffle ticket folders 'boys' missed a great night.

Heidi as always busy and smiling.

All those fans who are not feeling well get better soon and come back soon.

It certainly was an extra special evening B. Let's hope both Petes can be persuaded to make a return visit sometime, they were just brilliant & not forgetting our other 'Fantastic Five' who also played their part in making it a night to remember. Glad you put on a pic of our amazing Stella - she really looked like she was enjoying her pre-birthday 90th celebrations!
